My Ozark weekend

This weekend I went to Mandy and Jeff's wedding. I was such a good girl. I was good in the car even though it took 8.5 hours to get there. When we got to the Lake of the Ozarks we went to eat at Panera. I got to sit in my first restaurant high chair. Feed me!
Here I am in Grandma and Grandpa's hotel room. I got to go to my first wedding rehearsal for Jeff and Mandy's wedding. Mommy was a bridesmaid. After the rehearsal at the outdoor church (There were water fountains that I really liked!) Grandma and Grandpa Vogel had arrived so I got to stay with them while my mom and dad went on a dinner cruise.
Here I am with Micah at the wedding reception. He has the same color eyes as me!
Here is my family all pretty at the wedding.

Mandy the bride and me! Can you believe that this picture was taken at 10:30 at night and I was still up and smiling? I'm a trooper!

Jenn finally got me away from Micah for a picture.
Mommy and all her girlfriends. On the way home we stopped at Wal-Mart. I rode in the cart for the first time. Now that I can sit up I don't have to be in my car seat. Let me tell you I was so TIRED of my car seat after that trip!

GO BIG RED!

GO BIG RED!! I heard a lot of that on Saturday. I got all dressed up in my Husker cheerleading outfit to cheer the Huskers on. I went to Grandma Carole's and Grandpa Dave's to watch the Huskers win. Grandma Vogel was there too. So were Uncle Brady (teaching me bad things mom said) and Aunt Courtney (with my baby cousin ready to come out at anytime!). Goooooo Biiiiiig Reeeeed! Go Big Red!
I also put on my Hastings College future Bronco outfit that Daddy's college baseball coach gave me. Can you see my new tooth? It really is there, just ask Mommy about me biting her toe.

Yee-Haw!

My cousins came home from their weekend away with cowboy hats from the rodeo they went to. First, I tried on Abbey's hat .And Alex's hat...it was TOO big!
Abbey's hat fits her just right!
Well, then I tried Grandpas. It was too big too.
Then Maddey's hat fit just right! I crawled right off wearing it.

Courtney's Baby Shower

Mom and Aunt Mookie had a baby shower for my cousin that is due in October. Well, and for Aunt Courtney too, but I'm most excited about my cousin.Who needs presents? I like the wrapping paper. Grandma Vogel and Grandpa Vogel came out for the weekend too. I had A LOT of fun copying everything Grandpa did.

Merry-Go-Round

I got to go on my first Merry-Go-Round ride. I didn't think too much of it but I liked the music they played. The first time I rode with Mom.

Then I got to go with Dad and Grandpa Dave.

Nice piggy, nice piggy, kiss the piggy? No way!

My First Hall County Fair!

Tonight we went with Chris, Jaci, Abby & Garrett to the Hall County Fair. I loved watching all the people (flirting with them) and looking at the bright lights.
They had a petting area at the fair. I'm not so sure about this bunny Daddy is holding.
This little chick is a little more my size. He's kinda cute!
Well, maybe the bunny isn't so bad after all. He's really soft.

I'm really working on the "touch nice" thing Mommy is telling me to do, but Zoe doesn't mind when I don't "touch nice".
This goat kept trying to eat my pants. I am not a meal for him. Mommy kept giving him hay so he'd stop eating my pants.

Man, this piggy sure made a lot of noise. He wasn't as soft as the bunny.

Maybe I'll talk mom and dad into taking me back to the fair when it isn't raining so I can ride the merry-go-round!

My Week

It sure has been a busy week around my house. On Monday my Grandma Vogel had surgery so Mommy went to Omaha with her. Mom came home on Wednesday and reported that Grandma is doing really good. My cousin Amaya was here from Chicago and I got to play with her. Mom has been busy getting her classroom ready for school to start. I even got to go up to school with her today. I like pulling all the books off the shelves.

SHOULDER RIDES:
First it was Grandpa Dave's turn to give me a shoulder ride. I had to hold onto his hair to keep my balance!Next, it was Amaya's turn to give me a ride. Man, she sure has lots of hair for me to hold onto!
Last, I got to pull Grandma Carole's hair!
Amaya sure is fun to play with. I wish she didn't live so far away.
Mom met up with all the ladies she teaches with and I got to go play with the kids. I really liked playing with Ella. She even fed me my bottle.
