Jamaica

My Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Jeff and my cousins all went to Jamaica for Grandma and Grandpa's 40th Anniversary. Here are G'ma & G'pa with all their grandkids, except me!Here is the crew.

I hope I get to go there someday! I think we are going to try and go on a trip this summer (when mom doesn't have school) with Grandma and Grandpa to celebrate their 40th!

Horse races

Our family event is Saturdays at the horse races. Grandma Carole (I call her MiMi) and Grandpa Dave have a table and the races. There isn't much else to do on a February in Nebraska so we go to the horse races. I like to go down to the window and look at the horses when they come by.Aunt Mookie came to the races and fed me some cheetos.

Can you tell I have a sinus infection? Mom isn't too fond of the crusties and I can't say I like a kleenex coming near my nose. But, I'm always willing to smile for the camera.

Sorry I haven't posted for a long time. My mom has been very busy with conferences and me! Thank goodness Grandma Vogel came to stay for a few days so we could get some decent meals around here!


After my Saturday nap we went out to the horse races. After the races we came back to our house. G'pa Dave brought me ice cream!
At daycare we had a Valentine party. Here is my Valentine sack. I also painted my first picture when we were learning about the color purple, but I was kinda stubborn when Mommy tried to take a picture of me with it.
I got to stay home with Mom on Friday. I liked watching the blizzard through the front door.
When Daddy got home from work he scooped (mostly snowblowed) the snow. I yelled at him through the door.

Valentine Pictures

Even though I just had my first birthday pictures taken I had some Valentine pictures taken too. Here are some of the pictures.Some of you may be lucky enough to get this in the mail....

Alex's card like this says Chicks did me...he's right because he has LOTS of girlfriends. (I'm one of them!)

Playing

Today I cried...a lot! I got 3, yes 3, shots! It was not fun, but you only turn one once! Mom says in 3 more months I get more shots. BUMMER! Grandpa Dave cheered me up by pushing me (and my babies...and any other toy I picked up) around the living room.I was pushing my babies around on my car and then I wanted to get on too. I tried backing up and sitting down, but it didn't work.

I tried climbing on all by myself.

Yeah! Faster G'pa!

Super Bowl

Tonight we went over to G'ma Carole and G'pa Dave's to watch the Super Bowl. I was cheering for Uncle Toodle's favorite team...the Steelers! Here is mom feeding me my favorite supper, mac 'n cheese. (Thanks to Aunt Mandy for the cute outfit in the following pictures!)Silly face for the camera!
