My first Tornado sirens

Tonight I got to experience my first tornado sirens. I was peacefully sleeping in my crib like a good girl and all of a sudden Mommy picks me up and takes me to the basement. Daddy got Zoe and came down too. There were these bright colors on the TV that I liked to watch. Mommy and Daddy kept talking about wall clouds and tornadoes but I didn't understand what that all meant. I got to hang out in the basement for about an hour with Mom, Dad and Zoe. Finally, Daddy took me back upstairs. While we were in the basement we called my Grandpa Vogel because today is his birthday and Mommy told me how he likes to watch storms. Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Elmo and Me

Do you know that Elmo is one of my favorite things? Well, Elmo and I are a lot alike. I have red hair, Elmo has red hair. Elmo is silly, I'm silly, Elmo likes to sing and dance, I like to sing and dance. Elmo has a furry monster sister named Zoe and I have a furry monster sister named Zoe. Elmo is red and that's my favorite color. We were just meant to be pals. Here is a picture of me watching Elmo. I just love my Elmo time!
Elmo makes me happy!Elmo plays with his furry monster sister Zoe and I play with my furry monster sister Zoe. Daddy was grilling supper so Mom, Zoe and I hung out in the breezeway supervising his work. I mostly just rolled over, fussed, got put on my back, rolled over, fussed....over and over! Here is the part where I get fussy. I'm so good at rolling from my back to my tummy. I'm not so good at rolling back to my back. I have to fuss for a little help.

Hanging out at Home

Mommy is home on summer vacation so I get to hang out at home with her now. I'm a rolling over maniac. Mom's favorite part is I'm getting on a schedule and I even put myself to sleep at night now! This is me sleeping in my swing! It was morning nap time.I really like to reach for toys on my rainforest gym. This parrot is one of my favorite toys to grab at. I even discovered my feet and I try to reach for them.

First Bike Ride!

To end my first Memorial Day Mom and Dad took me for a bike ride. They got me a special little trailer to pull behind the bike. Here I am ready to go!Here is Dad pulling me along. This is fun!
Here I am looking out the side enjoying the ride.
Whew! That was hard work. So hard I decided to take a little nap! As soon as Mom took me inside I woke up. I'd rather sleep during the bike ride.

My First Memorial Day Weekend!

My weekend all started when Grandma came on Thursday. She brought me this shirt. It says Grandma has all the answers. Well, when Grandpa came he told he was looking for a shirt that says Grandpa has all the right answers! On Friday I went shopping with Grandma and Mommy. It was sure raining out! I was a very good shopper.
My Grandpa Vogel came on Saturday. He wanted to see me roll over, but I was more interested in playing and talking.
He even tried to help me roll over!
The girls (Abbey and Maddey) had dance recital so everyone went to see them dance. I saw there costumes and they were pretty.
This is at my first picnic. I was trying to feed myself my bottle, but it didn't work so well!
I went to Uncle JJ's and Grandpa Dave walked me down to see the water and watch Uncle Todd fish.
I went to Godfather's with Mom and Dad and they wouldn't even let me have any pizza.
When we got home from eating pizza I got to jump in my jumper. I love playing with my puppy Zoe when I'm in my jumper. I talk and drool and laugh in my jumper. It is A LOT of fun!

Playing in my crib

This is me in my crib. I like to play with my dolly and my bunny blanket. I was sure being silly after my bath! I really like to laugh, giggle and talk. It takes a lot of energy to do all these grown up things so I even sleep through the night once in a while.

Mommy thinks I might be teething because I'm always chewing on something!

Roll over!

Today I rolled over! I'm such a big girl now. Check me out!
Here I start...
I did it! Now I just have to get that arm out.

Yeah! I can watch Elmo again! I like me some Elmo!Daddy was the first one to see me roll over and then Mommy and Grandma Vogel came home and I showed off again for them.

Tuesday I went to Auburn with Mommy and Aunt Jennifer for my Grandma's retirement. She is retiring from teaching. Mommy says she taught way longer than Mommy is going to...36 years! Wow that sure a long time. I met Mommy's friends from high school's kids Karli and Owen and baby Jasper. Here is Owen giving me a kiss. He must think I'm pretty cute. That's Mandy holding me. She's Owen's mom.

My O-Ball

I was such a good girl this weekend that Mom and Dad bought me a new toy. It is called an O-ball. I love playing with the one at Aunt Jennifer's house. I also love my Rainforest mat.

My First Wedding!

This weekend I went to my very first wedding. I had to travel all the way to Des Moines for Jerin's wedding. Jerin is mommy's friend, Jenn's sister. It was a Luau wedding and I got to wear my Hawaiian sundress. This is Jenn and I at the wedding. Here is a picture of me with Daddy and a picture with Mommy. It was getting late and I was a little crabby.
See, look, can you believe I was up sooo late? I need some sleep!
On Sunday we drove home from Des Moines. We got to stop in Omaha at Aunt Courtney and Uncle Brady's. Do you like my new flip flops? Accessories are very important!

Aunt Courtney was tickling me. I was laughing a lot. I like to giggle, talk and laugh now that I'm almost 4 months old. Mommy gets out of school in 3 days. I'm very excited to spend more time with her. She even signed me up for swim lessons this summer. I love water so I think I'll like going to swim lessons!

Playing Outside

It was finally nice enough to go play outside. I wore my warm hat to keep my ears warm. Maddey and Alex came over and played t-ball with Daddy. Mommy and I dodged the balls and watched. Now that I am 3 months old I like to ride in my stroller looking out at everything. I got to go on two walks this weekend. On Saturday I slept through the night for the first time! Mommy says thank you cereal. My new rice cereal is pretty tasty!
Here is a picture of Daddy teaching Maddey how to bat.
