I'm ONE!!!

The night before I turned one we went out to celebrate my Grandma C & Grandpa D's 40th Anniversary. Dad and I are leaving the restraunt.Today was my first birthday. It started out with lunch at El Toro, one of my favorites! I had my usual beans and rice. I also had my favorite waiter...he even gave me a sucker!

I had all my family over for my birthday party and supper.

Our family tradition is for Grandma Vogel to make angel food cake for every birthday. I love me some angel food cake...grabbing the ice cream was fun too.

Present time...This present from my Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Jeff was so big I could climb on it.

My cousins and I were all dressed in heart outfits.

Grandma V made me this pillowcase dress. Alex is afraid of it because it had ladybugs on it. Poor Alex DOES NOT like ladybugs!

Megan made me this pretty scarf. I really like it.

My cousins were very helpful unwrapping and playing with my new toys.

I love my new little car. It is so much fun to ride, push and hide toys in. I can even ride it backwards.

Aunt Mandy came all the way from Omaha! Mom was SOOO happy!

I love talking to my cousin Avery. I am very worried when she cries.

My first birthday was Great! Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me.

Naughty!

I got in some trouble tonight. I have this little table where I play and stack cubes. Well, I took the top off and climbed into it. Mom and Dad said that was ok. Here I am climbing into the table.Then I sit down and play.

Here is where the trouble is....I like to stand after I sit for a while. Mom told me no. I told her no no no back (pointing my finger and all!). Well.... see below.

Mom took the legs off the table. She's such a party pooper! She may have won this time, but I'm just as stubborn as she is. Just you wait and see what I come up with next!

At least Zoe got in trouble for climbing up on the kitchen table too. It was a night of naughtiness at my house!

1 year pictures

Here are my 1 year pictures. We just got them today!

Mom says that my bow matched my outfit (maybe she's color blind?) But it looks really bad in these pink pictures. It did not match my shirt.

Playing with friends

I went with my mom and dad to Ryan and Melanie's on Friday. I had fun playing peek-a-boo with Jackson through the ball.Jackson and Jaylen have lots of fun toys to play with. I really liked the sit and spin.

My Omaha Weekend!

This weekend I went to the big town for my cousin Avery's baptism. This is Avery. She got to wear my baptism dress.I love babies. In church Avery sat in front of me and I was very loud saying baby baby baby so Mommy passed me down to Grandma and Grandpa!

My favorite part of church was when I got to walk around during the baptism.

We stayed in a hotel and I got to go swimming. Here I am waiting for Mom and Dad to take me down to the pool.Kiss the baby!

What are you doing dad?

After we got done swimming Mom was changing me from my swim diaper to my dry diaper and clothes. When she turned around to get a diaper I decided to start squatting on the carpet to do "my business" Well, Mom screamed and ran me to the toliet while Dad grabbed the camera. This is my first poo on the pottie! Yeah for me...now let's not try that again for a while.

I'm not so sure I like wearing hats!I went to the store with Mom and Dad. When we left it was very windy. Gotta love Nebraska winters! So, I was holding my hood on while trying to blow dad's whistle. I like to be funny!
